Ohhhh....brrrrother!
I don't believe it....just when I think my problems are over, I get a letter congratulating me on my disability case and in the next paragraph, they tell me the review council has the right to review my case and possibly find me not disabled! They have the POWER to do that! Now I'm scared again I'm worried. I can STILL get screwed. Don't these people have anything else to do but sit around and ruin peoples' lives? Why are we treated like this? I don't get it. Here we work and put into the government for our benefits in case something bad happens and they not only make us fight tooth and nail for it, but even when we win, there's still a possibility we've lost. They still cause worry for us. It's wrong, dead wrong.
Sigh.....now what? Am I in limbo once again? I guess it doesn't happen very often, but it happens. And since the unusual ALWAYS happens to me, it will probably happen; that's what scares me.
Ugghhh!!! I want to crawl under a huge rock and just hide. This really stinks.
Sorry to be such a downer, but I'm really kind of worried.

I think this is the standard form letter. SSD does have the right and will often \"spy\" on people....not that I know it to ever have been done, but I believe my letter said the same thing. I think it\'s more of just a general warning, that if you are scamming them, they will find out! Not that your decision is changed!!
Don\'t worry. That check is coming.
In Workman\'s Comp. cases they DO come to your door, as a surprise, anytime they want, and if they catch you tiling your roof...you\'re off benefits starting that day.
Form letter, Beckie! Just letting you know that they control you. It\'s how our government works.
But it said they can vacate the judges\' decision. I talked to B&B and she did say as well that my check is coming. BUT the letter said they have 60 days to decide whether or not to review it. So, what happens in say six months? If the decision is vacated and I lose my benefits? What then?See why I\'m scared all over again?
I see why you\'re scared again. But these letters are final decisions. You got your final decision. It doesn\'t matter what they wrote in that letter, in all my eight years and watching many people get on SSD, I\'ve never seen them reverse a decision once the judge has slammed the gavel. I swear, I think they just like messing with your head. Miserable clowns, that they are!
Acutally, this is a sort of harrassement. They are playing with your anxiety triggers as a disabled person. What does B and B have to say about THAT?
The letter is from B and B. The lady in that department told me it was just a heads up letting me know what can happen....I wish they wouldn\'t have. too much information makes me nervous, lol. Call me when you can.
I would assume that with the sequester, they don\'t have the manpower to do anything. If you want to come live in my little world of denial, you are welcome! :)
Sequester?
Yea, the government is on hold!
Ohhhhh...I didn\'t know that. I\'m not sure what sequester is, but if they\'re on hold........
