oh ya!

Oh ya... I forgot to say... I got a call for a 2nd aptmt at Children's with Sarah for the 18th.This one will be with the Dr. and a youth and family counselor. I saw our reg. psych. dr. yesterday so was able to ask her about that. She said that Mary (the counselor) is just another member of the team we hadn't met and she would provide the one-on-one counseling for Sarah when she's in. The dr. apparently doesn't do one-on-one once Sarah's admitted. She oversees, supervises the other team members, does the medical stuff like ordering the tests we want, etc. and coordinating other drs that might be needed (like a neurologist), plus is in charge of meds and any changes. Dr. stuff.So I'm learning more about how this works and we're going to meet someone new.Also the OT wants to set up another aptmt with Sarah as she can't be there on the same day  so we need separate times. Unfortunate since we have to drive a bit and pay hospital parking but could be worse, so I take it back if that sounded like complaining.ttfn
