Oh Well
Well this week's calories started out good, ended bad. 2 days on bingeing! I did feel unmotivated and even a little depressed this week. I had moments where I felt a panic attack looming and was able to fight it off. Several times were 9pm or so, while sitting watching tv. It was like all of a sudden I felt my heart start to race. Can't figure out why. Exercise this week was not great either. Stomach/intestines don't feel 100% yet either. This has been over 2 weeks for me. So this week going to try to eat better, cleaner, keep the calories at 1400 again and get in 5 days of exercise. 21 more days until Spring. need to refocus on getting back to the Y.
Need to get the house cleaned up this week. David's confirmation is Saturday and we have some family coming over. Going to be a small party unfortunately. Got a lot of no's and even some "no calls."
I was so excited. i found a cute puppy for my mom on line. She is a Tibetan Terrier, 10 months, which is what my mom is looking for. She is housebroken and crate trained and they called her already! She is in Tennessee. But they will transport her. I think she is perfect! She is 45 lbs. My mom's former dog was 40 lbs. You know what my mom says? She is too big! She has been SO cranky lately I am truly beginning to worry. It is like she is so negative? We went to Cracker Barrel last weekend. Paul, David, me, my Aunt Carol (her sister) and my mom. I thought it was great! I love the chicken and dumplings. My mom was a total downer. May be nothing. But I just think maybe I need to have a talk with her. I just feel like something is "off."
Going to Zumba today at 5pm instead of the 1pm class. My friend's niece took the training class to teach and the Y opened a new 5pm class just for her. So we are all going today at 5pm in support of her.
David was in his karate tournament yesterday (his own school's tournament.) i really feel in the one competition he got robbed. Normally, I don't judge or say anything. But for whatever the reason, all of the upper echelon black belts (ie: 6th degree masters, 2-3rd degree black belts) were judging the other two rings (one ring with orange/green/blue belts, and the other with the little kids with the white and yellow belts.) He had 3 black belts judging the red/black belt ring that were lower rank than David! And they judge him on a form that they did not even know! I am not necessarily saying David should have come in first place, but the kids that came in 2nd and 3rd, David CLEARLY beat them. it was not even close, and David came in forth. I had SO many people come over and say "Wow! I can't believe David did not win the forms competition!" David was really upset by it and I feel bad. Stuff happens. You have human judges. But Master Berry clearly messed up on that one. You had 3 kids judging other kids. David was the highest ranked in the 14-16 year old black belt competition. David hurt his food in the sparring. I had to take him to the hospital last night for xrays. nothing broken.
My husband and my son are hypochondriacs. Both go to dr or hospital for anything. David would go through band aids like crazy. He CRAVES the attention. It worries me. I did not want to go to hospital. But then I was made to feel like a crappy mother for not taking him. 2 1/2 hrs in hospital. They gave him a boot to wear as he is limping. It is a bruise! He took the dog out for 2 walks today and stopped off at friends' houses to show off the boot. He actually wants to go to karate tomorrow, but not to practice as he needs to take off a few days, but to show off the boot. He is in such a wonderful mood today because he is getting attention! I know for David, he got NO attention from his bio parents and it was severe neglect, even when he was really sick. Going to hospital meant feeling better, getting care, getting attention. And, our childrens hospital is exceptional and world renowned. I am blessed to have such a wonderful childrens hospital only 5 miles away from my house!
Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend! Going to be on the road a lot this week. will try to keep up with everyone! 21 days to Spring! Can't come soon enough for me!

That\'s funny. My daughter goes through bandaids like crazy and my two sons both act like they\'ve been poisoned if you even mention a bandaid.
Too bad about the poor judging, but definitely a life lesson to learn to handle with grace. That\'ll happen in life, won\'t it. We\'ve all experienced that to some degree.
Hope you are feeling great soon!! Be nice to have some time with no tummy issues. Glad you can still Zumba. I\'ll have to try that someday soon!
Laura- you would LOVE Zumba! Especially with a good teacher. You just dance to great upbeat music, jump around, wiggle your hips. I now think they have maybe 10 or more Zumba classes a week at my local Y, 3 of which are on sundays. The 12 pm and the 1pm are so packed! I am thinking of doing belly dancing class 4pm to 4:35pm and now Zumba from 5pm to 5:55pm.
Oh, I did end up taking a Xanax this afternoon prior to Zumba. I just felt a panic attack coming on all day and just did not want to take it anymore. I felt better pretty quickly. Still have crampiness though in intestines on ocassion which is driving me crazy.
Glad David \'s foot isn\'t broken. Sorry you had to take a xanax.
Belly dancing sounds like fun. :)
It\'s terrible that David didn\'t get judged properly. Doesn\'t that stink when that happens.
Zumba class with your friend\'s niece instructing sounds like a great time.
Great insite to David and his foot injury. Isn\'t his new therapy meeting tomorrow?
I hope your Mother is OK and not hiding something about her health. Are you sure she really wants the dog as she is finding this wrong about it....to big?
David\'s new discussion for new upgraded therapy is Tuesday afternoon (fingers crossed, saying prayers.) I did have a long talk with a friend of my mom\'s. My mom went over to her house yesterday for dinner. She honestly feels my mom is ok. She said my mom was concerned because the puppy was 10 months old and 45 lbs that she was not full grown yet and could turn out to be 60 lbs. So Linda definitely thinks my mom wants a dog, she is just waiting for the right one.
