oh the anxiety....someone talk me down

I am just a mess.   After what happened a week ago, literally everything I feel makes me scared that I am contracting.   I try to stay calm and realize that I have always felt - and will continue to feel - a lot of weird sensations (pulling, tugging, etc) and that it is NOT the same as contractions, but i feel like i can even tell anymore.    Everything scares me.   even the feeling of having to go to the bathroom (TMI, sorry) scares me....though I always end up "going" and then that feeling goes away.
I wake up a lot during the night to potty and stay awake touching my belly, analyzing whatever I am feeling at that moment.  it's exhausting and I know it's not healthy for me.   I was up at 3:30am today and didn't go back to sleep - so I had to get to work feeling so tired and just out of sorts.
I don't even know how to handle this worry and anxiety.  Lord willing, I still have a long way to go before these babies are born and I cannot spend every day so scared.

I\'m sorry you have scares! I hope that goes away a little for you and you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy! How far along are you now?

Thinking of you!

Pregnancy is so nerve racking, and I get it. It\'s hard, but try to take it easy.

After a scare and IF I don\'t know if you will ever feel 100% safe. I know meditation helped me when I was stressed out and couldn\'t sleep.
good luck.

I am sure the anxiety you are feeling is pretty common after your scare and even those who have dealt with infertility. Try to think about all of those stomach pulls and tugging as your babies making themselves comfy and stretching to make more room for them.

The worry won\'t stop until your babes are born and healthy. My contractions started at 20 weeks and I only had two babies in there. Random contractions that don\'t increase and don\'t come with any other symptoms are ok and will happen. Just stay aware of them and the changes. Also, get off your feet and rest all.the.time. don\'t think you need to do anything except cook those babies! You are doing great.

I know exactly what you are talking about I havnt had contractions but I had a massive bleed at 17 weeks, I was nervous before that but nothing compared to now!! Every day I spend over analysing every twinge and pull, gas and constipation pain. Every wet feeling in my knickers I have to go check, I am nervous everytime I go to the loo of what I will find in my undies, whatever I find I question whether that\'s a good sign or a bad one, anything will set me worrying. even down to the fact its a sunday night and that\'s the night it happened!!! Its not easy and nothing will make it go away, we are higher risk pregnancies (I have lupus) and that along with the IF makes it terrifiying and no one gets it except us ladies here.
I try to just remind myself when im panicking that worrying wont make any difference to the outcome so its a waste of my energy, try to talk up the positive signs I do have, and remind myself that I can live through the worry, each day I tick off another day I survived worrying and nothing bad happened!
I\'m with you friend, we can do this!!!
