Oh Christmas Tree! :) decorating, peaceful car ride, a trip down memory lane :)
OH CHRISTMAS TREE! OH CHRISTMAS TREE! :) it's a cozy warm sunday, with holiday spirit, sweet reflections, and wholesome warmth of Christmas time in our hearts :) my family and i have began to put up our christmas tree! :) it's one of our favorite traditions, and festivities of the season :) We're enjoying a nice sunday :) today, my mom, dad, Kayla, Taylynn, and i went for a nice peaceful car ride to Niantic, Connecticut :) we layed some very special Christmas flowers, and Wreathes, for loved ones who have passed on over the years, and we also drove through Niantic Town area, we saw some beautiful Christmas decorations, parade floats, and we also got to see Niantic Bay :) it was a wonderful car ride :) my mom and dad shared some special memories with us, as we enjoyed the ride :) this afternoon, we put some football games on, and began to put up our christmas tree :) as the week goes on, we're going to be decorating the tree with our ornaments :) We love the holidays, and are so happy, and thankful to be able to celebrate the season with you all :) We've been checking out some snowy football games today, and also got some snow and sleet in our forecast for tonight. keeping cozy warm :) i lit my Christmas town lights today, and enjoying the spirit of this wonderful sunday :) i treated myself to a nice blueberry iced coffee :) Cheers! to family, friends, to wholesome times, and to the spirit of the season :) We're excited to decorate our Christmas tree :) i'll be taking lots of pictures to share with everyone :) Season's greetings, and our warmest friendship hugs, from our home to yours :)

A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE! :) around mid-day today, my mom, dad, Kayla, Taylynn, and i went on a nice car ride, to a very special city, and town, Niantic, Connecticut :) my mom's and dad's 1st years together, they got their 1st home, in Niantic :) they love to share stories, and memories with us, as we travel out there :) it's a very special joy :) When we first began our adventure, we first stopped by the henny penny gas station, got some gas, and my dad picked up a nice large blueberry iced coffee for me :) i also brought chocolate chip cookies that our dear friends Stephanie (Coolgal) and her family sent us, to enjoy during our car ride. : )coffee, cookies, yummy! :) we began our journey to Niantic :) it's not too far from us, about 25 minutes :) my mom and dad bought some nice poinsetta flowers, and small Christmas wreathes, to lay upon the gravesites of family members who have passed on, over the years. It's a christmas season tradition in our family to travel out to Niantic, for this festivity, of placing the flowers, and wreathes. :)
We were driving into the town of Niantic, and saw some light poles decorated for christmas, and my mom and dad were talking about how the town has grown a lot over the years :) they showed us where there 1st home was, we also got to see the new "shack restaurant", and the original shack restaurant where my mom worked in the late 1960's :) She mentions about how my dad use too go there to pick her up from work after her shifts :) we saw a nice river, and a stream, and were cruising along :) we went to the cemetery, and put the flowers, and wreathes on the gravesites my mom's dad, her step-mom, uncle Ralph, and uncle Ed are there. Ed served in world war 2, and Ralph served in Vietnam. we saw some flags upon their gravesites, that the cemetery keepers put on there. the Christmas flowers, and wreathes are very nice. :) we love paying our respects, and in loving remembrance. :)
We then drove into the inner part of the Niantic Town, we saw some wonderful Christmas decorations, parade floats, a huge rudolph the red nosed reindeer parade float, and other floats, that were in the Niantic parade :) i was taking pictures to share with everyone, including a picture of a nice christmas tree :) we drove over by the Niantic, Bay area :) we saw the waterside, and the millstone power plant is visible there too :) we then began our journey home :) we were enjoying a nice talk, and peaceful car ride :) Kayla and Taylynn had brought their electronics, and watching videos, and listening to music :)
This afternoon, we've been watching some football, beginning to put up our christmas tree, and as this upcoming week begins, we're going to be decorating our Christmas tree more and more :) i look forward to taking lots of pictures to share with everyone, and sharing about our Christmas decorating :) We love these very special times, and are very happy, and joyful, to celebrate the holidays with you all, our dear, and wonderful friends :) the games today, are wild! even though my Redskins lost, i'm still enjoying the games :) wow! :) Patriots, Ravens, amazing comeback victories! :) i love football, and cheering on the teams :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) we're gearing up for the upcoming week :) There's many more great things to look forward too :) i'm gonna be putting on some Christmas movies, decorating for the holidays, nature walks, sweet treats tuesday, writing Christmas cards, and going to the post office on super wednesday :) Life is very special, each day, is a beautiful gift, and treasure :) my family and i thank you all, and appreciate you all, very much, and all that you do for us :) tomorrow, i'm going to be sharing about some very special, and lovely Christmas gifts, and treasures my family and i have been recieving :) BIG GROUP COZY WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) There's many more wonderful times to look forward too :) my family and i hope everyone is enjoying a nice peaceful sunday, and weekend :)

Hello Chris...Your trip to Niantic sounded really nice and enjoyed hearing about and seeing the pictures you shared. Very pretty place and lots of cool decorations. I know you and your family are enjoying your day together and putting up your Christmas tree! The pasta dinner you Mom made sounds sooooo goood!!! My adventure was packing and freeze the deer meat from Guy\'s little deer. Really, it\'s just the right amount for us for winter so I\'m going to search recipes and especially make jerky for Guy!!! So much to do, so little time...
Buzy and tiring day had me on the floor in the kitchen when I lost my footing. Luckily, I did not get hurt!

Niantic seems like a lovely place. We decorated our tree all so. I posted a pic in my photos a long with a few other Christmas photos. my son is 9 He started a Christmas village collection last year. Christmas is a wonderful time of year for our family all so.
