Oh and speaking of Ken

For the most part yesterday was pretty good...except for the sadness I carry inside, that never goes away....
My son Jeff planned a nice afternoon meal for the family...for ME...On Mother's Day no mom is allowed to do anything..We just sit and watch, while other's cook, set the table, clean up after we are finished....Mom's are to be served...which is a very sweet treat to us Mom's.....
So this year we got to cong...the newly engagement of Shawn and Melissa and the kids...everyone was so happy for them...
We shared, mom's day gifts went given...we relaxed, watched a movie...then we headed home.....
This is the second year that Jeff has done this..so I am sure he is trying to make things special since Ken passed away....Oh and speaking of Ken..
I was getting ready for church, I was in the bathroom doing my makeup and I just sorta prayed, God if there is anyway for Ken to wish me a good Mother's Day i sure would appreciate it.
After getting ready, I picked up my I-Pad to play my game for awhile before we had to leave....I open the cover and it comes on....At the top of the page is the
date and time....Never in all the time I have had the I-Pad has the battery ran down, or has the date been wrong...it always the right time and date.
I open it and glanced a the top of the page.....the date Jan 2
I close it....I open it again...at the top of the page Date Jan 2
I close it again....I open it again....once again I open it Date Jan 2
Then I remember my little prayer to God a bit earlier...asking for something from Ken....
So I take the I-Pad to my husband....I asked him to open it....he does...I asked him
what do you see....He said the date...it says Jan 2 with this puzzled look on his face.
I looked at him and say Jan 2, Ken's memorial day....My husband looked at me and said:
Happy Mother's Day Mom, from Ken.....
A Mother's Day wish from all my boys....Thank you guys love you...Mom
