Off to a Pretty Good Start
As we were coming back from the amusement park on Monday, my son & I were talking about school & how he decided he wouldn't be dropping Sociology after all. I told him, "Just be sure you pass it." And he said he would indeed pass it; "It's double or nothing this year!" And (quoting Yoda): "Do or do not; there is no try." I told him that was a good attitude!
It seems that being a senior this year is really motivating him to finally "do it", because he knows he won't graduate if he doesn't. So, here's to hoping that he gets out of his own way & asks for help if he needs it.
And by the way, the double-class thing was straightened out quickly, so his schedule is stable. For him, this is important!
