to all: I am currently off all anti-depressant medication and have been now for over 2 months. The stress of me losing my son 3 years ago triggered my depression. Dealing with lawyers, States Attorney's, State Police, Madd, and Insurance companies, took their toll. God is good and I am enjoying my life and my church families I am prividedged to serve.

visited a fried of mine who is incarcerated for drugs..Drove 120 miles to see him. He and I grew up about 3 miles apart. I have know him all my life. I preached his mom\'s funeral in Jan. of this year. Had a great visit.
Drove 120 plus miles today to see a lady dying of Cancer. Her sister asked me to go see her. I went to see her and she told me she wasn;t a Christian and that she wasn\'t saved. She said she would like to be saved so, I led her in the sinners prayer and she accepted Christ as her Saviour. This poor woman has 2 to 4 weeks to live and she was in very bad shape when I went to see her today. Thank God, I went to see her. I don\'t think she will last a week. God amazes me and I am thankful He uses someone like me.
I led this lady to Christ at approx. 11:30 am 12-10-08---- She died at 4:30 pm 12-10-08!!!!!!!!
I am doing 2 funerals tomorrow. One man was 87, I knew his family but didn\'t know him very well personally. The second man was a friend of mine that I have known since the 7th grade. He was 62.
He was a bachelor.
I led a 36 year old lady to the Lord today. She is suffering from alcohol withdrawal. I went to see her at her moms\' request. She needs our prayers and support
Funerals were hard for me. The 62 year old friend of mine was an avid worker with the AA and NA programs. He helped a lot of people and had been clean for quite a few years himself.
I had the AA people come forward and address the congregation before I preached his funeral. At the grave site, they joined hands and quoted the Lord\'s prayer after the military had their service of the 21 gun salute and the presentation of the flag. It was an awesome grave site service.
This makes twice in 2 years , that I have done a funeral of a friend who served in the military.
Went to a nursing home, about 50 miles from where I live, at the request of a friend of mine, to see his sister. She is in her eighties. He wanted me to find out if she was a saved lady. Praise the Lord she is and she really enjoyed me coming to see her and introducing myself to her. She was very sweet and smiled the whole time I visited. I felt blessed to talk to this dear old lady.
