Off Again...

Hello Community,
Mickie and I had a great time in Reno with my son and his wife.  We had a wonderful meal at the Nugget (a casino).  We are now in cold Chicago.  Tomorrow we drive to Dallas where it is much warmer.  We enjoy our drives (no TSA).  We will spend 10 days in Dallas.  We will be taking care of Mickie's father who is 89 and has memory problems.  I watch football with him which please me.  He asks me the score about every 5 minutes.  I am used to that now.
I feel fairly well.  My shoulder pains have mostly gone away.  I attribute that to meds and emotionally I am on somewhat on a high...seeing my son and his wife and Mickie's semester is over.  We can have more time together...Mickie had a heavy teaching load this last semester.
TSA was not all that bad considering...I had to go through the body scan...Then I was patted down.  What good are the body scans then.
Take care,
Joe

joe... isn\'t it amazing how when we have an emotional high we physically feel better? I\'m glad you are getting out of our cold city because I just heard it\'s going to get colder... Dallas sounds like a wonderful place to be and I hope you have a wonderful drive ... and yes TSA\'s are a pain and the pat down after the scan????? go figure... Take Care Joe ... Safe journey... paula

I am envious of all your travels, though not of your TSA experiences. With the cold and possible snow moving in this weekend, you are escaping to the south just in time. Enjoy your drive, as well as the time with your father in law. Do take care of yourself. Dan

Hi Joe,

I\'m really pleased your Thanksgiving went well, it\'s great to spend time with the family isn\'t it? I was ecstatic to see my son and he\'d only been away on holiday - I can\'t imagine how you must feel. I\'m with Paula on the emotional and physical connection so I hope you have a lovely, relaxing time in Dallas.

Have a great trip and hope to catch up when you get back.

Take care

Julie
