Of Bellies, Butts, and Other Things

My belly is bustin' my butt.  Its taking over.  The more it grows out, the less my butt has to offer.  It makes keeping my pants up very hard.  The back of the pants keeps slipping down.  Suspenders help with jeans, but I wear sweat pants and gym shorts most of the time.  Not only do suspenders not go with these, but the clasps aren't wide enough to lock into the tops.  So, as the pants slip down the back, the front follows.  The logical answer to this problem is to reduce the front which is a problem that might take years to correct.  Getting off the now useless butt would help.  Why can't "pee" pills act logical?  Why do they make you go more often and relieve less?  Why not keep the same number of trips to the bath room, but stay longer?  I've been looking for a hose to run from the living room to the bath room.  And don't miss a day!  Your body will double your trouble!  I sit here smoking a cigarette, coughing from emphysema.  That makes sense,,,doesn't it?  I'm wearing my diabetic shoes more now.  Figure if I'm going to walk like other people, flip flops are not a good way.  Sure is odd wearing shoes.  My eating habits have changed.  Making a tuna or chicken salad was a weekly thing.  Now, I've had the same cans of tuna and chicken for weeks.  Just haven't had the incentive to chop the fixins'.  Roman noodles were Saturday and Sunday meals.  Now, Friday has been added so there is no need for the salads.  Biscuits are now the Sunday morning breakfast and there's enough for two more.  Bagels, a Saturday breakfast, are breakfast for two more.  Burritos are once a week now,,sometimes twice.  Kit is getting more inventive.  He lays under the computer table while I'm using it most of the time.  But now, when I get ready to get off, he knows it.  As I turn to get out of the chair, he jumps in my lap.  I guess he's making sure I know he's next.  He follows me all over the house which scares me sometimes because he's at my feet when I washing the dishes or cooking.  I'm afraid he's going to get hurt by something on the stove or dishes.  He seems so unsure of our relationship as if he's not sure I love him and care about him.  I talk to him,,pet him,,,stroke him,,rub him,,and play with him, but any time I need to do something that doesn't involve him, he seems to think I don't care.  I don't know what else I can do to make him know how much he means to me.  He's such a cute little thing.  Speak of of the devil.  Kit has just reminded me that my computer time is limited and its time for him.

I think Kit may sense your distress with your health issues and may even want to comfort the two of you by being close?

I know how health issues can make life a bit too much of a challenge at times. We adjust and do what we can as well as we can and that is going to have to do us it appears.

Gentle ((hugs)) shared.
