OD, drips, potassium, steri strips and a whole lot of blood tests

Last night I just got home from a trip to the hospital..
In the early after noon (say about 2pm) I had gotten myself into such of a state with being so absolutely tired and exhausted from everything, that after my psychologist appointment I went and got some razors, pulled them apart and a couple of packets of panadol...
I then for some reason had a little fighter inside of me, and I went back to the psychologist, blood in my jumper and the receptionist quickly got her for me. I went in and told her.
It felt a bit odd they didn't react straight away, like she came and spoke to me for awhile before she eventually went upstairs to speak with the doctors and leaders, which she then called the ambulance which took me into hospital to have my antidote for the poisoning I had caused myself in my body. They didn't start the antidote straight away, they asked lots of questions (medically) and took a blood test and monitored observations, ecg, etc. (blood pressure was quite low) and I had to get some fluids because I was dehydrated I think and needed them.
I was then turned very ill and throwing up in waves until about midnight. During this time, I had caused a tear in my oesophagus (not sure if that was already likely to happen because of my purging) meaning I was vomitting blood which probably wasn't the best thing to happen.
Anyway, after this (and a long night with no sleep in the short stay unit in the Emergency Department I had my psychologist come in the afternoon and spoke to me, and because its kind of been obvious hospitals have never helped in the past, that she really didn't want to admit me. So I'm home last night at about 8.30-9pm, after taking well over an hour to find any blood from me for the discharge blood test which I couldn't leave without, as well as taking some medication because my potassium levels were low. But now I am home, to sleep, take my meds (given by my parents), eat if I can, keep my fluids up, and just rest and give myself a break from everything.

I guess I made two mistakes here, one from doing the od and one from getting help for it. Whatever has happened is done, but I guess it was good that there was that one tiny insignificant reaching out for help wanting to stay alive me that went and sent me to the psychologist and told her, so I guess that wasn't too bad but I will have to see how things go.. one. day. at. a. time.
