October updates on Me
Well, it has been a little while since my last post. I am happy to say I am finally back at work, well almost. I went back on Thursday of last week and then I was off Friday and Monday. Monday evening I broke my tooth so Tuesday I had an appointment with my dentist and of course when you go to the dentist especially after 3 years they tell you about all the stuff they told you to get done before and never got done. Anyway, I got my tooth pulled and others worked on so I have not been back in the office yet. What a month October has been for me. I'm still home recovering. Taking pain medicine, icing my cheek and eating soft foods. I guess that is one way to speed the weight loss when you can't eat solid foods LOL.
Anyway, what else is up with me. I have been busy with the family. Football has been pretty good for my son at his new school. He enjoys it and that is what is important. He is adjusting well to private school. My other son, my big senior is scheduled to take the ACT again this weekend and has started looking at colleges. So a lot of excitement on my end. I'm looking forward to the weekend and continuing to heal. Oh, I almost forgot. I had my MRI earlier this month and no changes which is good news!!
That's about it for me. Not sure when I will be starting on my new project at work and if I will be relocating to another building. Either way, I am just happy to have a job in this economy. I'm just hoping that we don't have to deal with another government shutdown in January.

I hate going to the dentist. I am glad you were able to take care of your broke tooth. I know that must have hurt.
It is good that your son is enjoying football. My step son quit football a few weeks ago. He did it without our approval. His mother encourages him not to finish things he started. But what can you do when his mother is like that. My daughter needs to take the ACT again. She will take it in December. I know your son is excited about looking into colleges. That is a big decision.
Great news about your MRI. I had no changes on mine too. I think we are all lucky to have a job in this economy. I am lucky to have my job. They are understanding about my MS. Yes, they know that I have MS.
