Good evening everyone,
I recently returned to the gym this evening.  I haven't been back since December 13, 2009 - 2 days before my lumpectomy.   I was running on the treadmill before the surgery.  Tonight, I only did 20 minutes treadmill at 3.2 speed (I am so out out of shape it isn't even funny).  then I got on the eliptical for 20 minutes.  I was super exhausted after I finished.    I will return to the gym on Wednesday and do the same workout.  I am hopeful that the treadmill and eliptical will get easier.  I do want to run on the treadmill.  It will take sometime to do this.  With hard work and determination I will get back into shape.
Tomorrow I will probably feel it....

It will take time, but it\'s well worth it. Just keep working on it, and you\'ll be feeling great in no time.

Take it easy and do what you can and do not push yourself. You are doing great. Much love and hugs.

sounds like a LOT of exercising- be careful not to overdo- build yourself up slowly would be my suggestion. well done!-joanne

I will continue to do 20 minutes on the treadmill and eliptical until it is too easy. I will not overdo it. I expect that everytime I go back it will get easier and easier.
