Observe and Report

That's pretty much the function of a security guard.  Class D license is for an unarmed security officer, so there's really no power one can wield (nor would one want to, unarmed, with no  weapon and no Kevlar bulletproof vest, for the lousy bucks they're paying us).  The uniform itself and the radio are supposed to act as a deterrent against criminals, which is a joke, but I suppose, for some, just the threat of calling HQ and dispatching out the cops might be enough of a deterrent against some potential wrongdoers.  Kinda tired, moronic business, but also kinda sorta interesting, the various safety procedures.
The teacher, who is Hatian, barely speaks a word of English, so it's a bit of a stretch to understand what he's saying...got a bit of a headache...just want to get through this, sit in a nice, quiet post somewhere, make the rounds and milk the paycheck while I figure out my next move (more education in something else, job that is more suitable to a B.A. degree in Communications).

There\'s nothing satisfies quite like that OJV (on-the-job vacation) time, is there? LOL

I hear they make Kevlar vests thin enough to wear under your shirt. I think we could make something out of Tyvek envelopes and rubber cement, if you want one.
