Now frustration from son's school
This last week of September is turning out to be the week from hell. I swear I can't wait to see October 1st, if for nothing else but the change of the name of the month.
My son's school is telling me they have no "wiggle room" to put him in another track or class. And during the discussion with the principal today, I was "informed" that my son had been having trouble with a kid in his class for the past two years. Well this is news to me I told them. I don't understand why this would come up now, that if it was such a problem then, that they wait until now to tell me about it. I certainly don't remember anything from his last two years that stands out to me. So now I'm on the hunt to see if I can find his last years agenda, to see if there was something I missed, or if it is a case of a couple of incidents (and not this fixation that they claim) of just getting along and just having a bad day, or if there is a problem they failed to catch, and are now just catching, or if someone is trying to cover asses. It's just frustrating to think after all this time working with these people with both my kids that they would have nothing but the best in mind for him. I know my son can be trying and I know that sometimes he likes to see if he can get out of school work, heck work period, especially if it is something that is frustrating to him, or if it is something he fears failing or "not getting it right". It's just very frustrating cause I want to believe my son, but I also want to believe the school is trying there best. If it were not for the fact that both of my kids have been going to this school from the start, I would have a harder time believing them.
I'm just praying that God will grant me the wisdom to tackle this too and make sure we come out for the better.
Thankfully, my daughter's school is going to replace all of her school supplies and get her some study notes so she can study over track out and come in and take the testing she missed. Like I told the principal, I just hope no other student or parent have to endure this hell. But buddy was I waiting for them to give me issues with replacing her school supplies they threw away. I had made up my mind that if they did not replace them, then I was going to take the copy of the email I sent the principal and go to our local news station, which has a "TroubleShooter" reporter, that loves nothing better than to see a business or school system not doing what they are supposed to or overstepping their bounds, and slapping their names and business all over the local news. But I think the principal is smart enough to know that, by now. Plus somehow, I get the feeling that even though procedure stated that they had to dispose of the items, I feel that by not contacting me, they were not following the procedures they were supposed to to begin with, and that is why they are so eager to make this issue "go away".
An yeah, I've now found the feature that allows you to put images in here..hehe..this is gonna be fun. Someday's a picture says everything you want to say when you don't want to say anything..lol
