November 8, 2008 Update
Hello to all of Phyllis' friends here online. I am her son (Steve) and she has asked me to post an update for all to know where she has been and what is going on here in Arizona. She was admitted to the hospital late last week for some stomach pains and not doing well in general. IT turned up that she had a hernia and it had caused problems with her colon. She went into surgery on Thursday and had this "fixed". All of the information we have is that it was a success! While she is still in ICU, she seems to be getting better each time I go up to see her (go between her and my dad). I will try to get back on here over the next few days, until she gets home, and respond with any updates that I may have. Steve

Please send my prayers and love to your mom. I hope she gets well soon. It was nice of her to think of us and nice of you to let us know what happened to us. I think of her and your dad often and wonder how they are doing. She is not on here much, and of course, I understand why. She is a wonderful lady, and your dad is a remarkable man. I am sure you are proud of them. Again, tell your mom, I am thinking of her and send her love and big hugs...Marie
