November 3, 2010 Breast Biopsy

Had my biopsy this morning at 9.    I had a different radiologist come in to do a quick ultrasound on me to find the questionable site.  She could not find it so they did a few quick mammo pics.  The other radiologist came in and told me she was gonna do the biopsy and that it showed on the films.  she appologized to me on behalf of the other radiologist.  Its because it is so small that it was hard to catch it on the ultrasound.  she was able to do the ultrasound, then the biopsy.   she numbed the left breast up to the point I didn't feel a thing.  Then she took 2 samples of the area, put the marker in (small pin) to the approximate spot where the possible area was.  all and all, it took about 3 hours.  The novacaine is starting to wear off but overall I am not doing too bad.  I will find out Friday after 4:30. 
I have things to do here before tomorrow's ACLS class.  I still have to do the roster and copying.  Hopefully today's nurse program will be cleaned up properly and Judy's equipment will be in the right spot. 
My mom's side of the family is coming into town this week for my grandma's memorial service.    I will be seeing many of them on Friday evening - it would be nice to have Roswell call me with the results before I leave the house.  It will take me approx 45 minutes to get to the legion hall for the fish fry.  So I have to leave the house at 5:30-5:40 give or take the Friday night traffic.
