November 2 Notes
Friday November 2 and I'm just now getting these Halloween pictures off the camera and onto the computer. Hope you enjoy the custom kitty costumes that I whipped up in my spare time. It was great fun and it's good to have such willing models!
In other news, my Fairy Godmother was moved to a rehab hospital last Tuesday where she will spend the next three weeks. She is in high spirits and working hard with the Physical Therapists! She hopes to return to her home very soon! Thanks for all your prayers during the last couple of weeks. I appreciate it!
The SUN finally came out today -- for a couple of hours, anyway. I am thinking by tomorrow, it might be dry enough to start moving the 9 squillion leaves that now cover the lawn. All in all, we didn't fare too badly through Hurricane Sandy - thank God for small favors!

I was catching up on DS since I have been gone and this week, sick. How did the counteroffer go? Looks like you guys had fun on Halloween. I did my flashmob last Saturday and then have been curled up on the couch since then sick. I have been teaching this week but that\'s about it. I\'ve made it to nothing else. Good luck on the house!
Kathi, I guess I\'ve missed a few of your journals as didn\'t know about your friend - am caught up now! My grandmother lived to 98 and was ill only the last few years of her life....each time she DID get sick, we thought \"this is it\" because of her age etc. But she ALWAYS came back (except for the last time :) So much so that they called her the \'comeback kid\' at the hospital! Glad your friend is better. As for the sun coming out....send some this way! hugs
