November 1st,1987-November 1st,2008-21 years later

Today is the feast of all souls day.It is a holy day in the catholic church.On this day in 1987..my sainted father died and things just havent been the same.I think that Ernest Hemingway once said about the death of a parent how things change.Hemingway was right.Things did change in my house and it wasnt for the better.My mother was lost without my dad.He did everything.He even took care of the financial department.Mother never wrote a check.When he died,mother was 69 years old and they were married for 53 years.My father was just one fantastic person and he taught me a lot.He took us to fantastic places as a child and he made me a long ti me fan of books.I still read 2 books a week and I read the newspaper almost everyday.The people who dont read the paper in seattle and such are some of the dumbest that I have ever seen.In 1962..at the age of 15,my father took me and the rest of the family up to Hyde Park,New York.Hyde Park,New York is the library of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and I dont care what you think about him..the programs under Roosevelt kept my father and mother alive or else they would have starved.Roosevelt was just a fantastic President and people loved him.lets give credit where credit is due.Some of these books are horrible..but why didnt they write these when he was alive? Why do the American People wait til a person is dead to write what a son of a gun he was? Shouldnt you settle a grievance when you are alive? I am an Italian and I have seen this.Some of the kids that I went to school with did not even have music in the house.They never heard of Glemiller and such and this is sad.No man in seattle will ever have the guts that my father had.No man here will ever have it.Half of them here stink! The men here are very immature.They are going to the gym,working our,or jogging..but guys please get real! Running and working out and such do not make a relationship.Running and all of these sports are just another way for you to escape your problems.When you always run for office and are always on the campaign trail..you are running away from your problems instead of facing them and this is how Brad is.He doesnt face the fact that he has problems.Half of the men here dont.SOme of them want to be like Michael Phelps and I dont know why.Phelps is the most conceited person that I have ever seen and why are we making a big deal over him? Winning the Olmpics wont get anyone a job.Look at Mark Spitz.Where is he now? Noone hears of him anymore.His career flopped.Sports should be a hobby..not a livelhood and telling kids that they can and play ball professioanlly is a othing but a disappointment and to some a delusion.n
