I'm at a loss for words right now.  I am experiencing my first miscarriage, and I don't know how to take it.  All I do is cry a lot.  I can't get myself to smile even though I know my child is with Jesus having the time of his life.  He would have been born on December 10.  I believe he was stillborn at about 12 weeks, but about the 10th week I felt my first kick.  It was such a wonderful feeling.  I miss being pregnant, and I miss my child a lot.  He means so much to me.  What hurts the most is that I can't love and hold him.  I have to wait to see him in Heaven with the Lord.  Around July or August, I may have started having my periods again because they became longer, but by November 14, I saw tissue, so I'm guessing my body was disposing of the remains of my baby naturally all this time.  My husband is not taking it well either.  He had to spend time with his brother who went through a miscarriage, so that he can move on too.  I don't know what else to say, but I will be getting a bracelet in honor of my child that I will soon see in Heaven with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Please be in prayer.  Thank you.

Just catching up because we are now friends. My daughter-in-law lost hers not long ago. My son was upset probably more than he would admit to her. He came by and cried. I was glad I had a shoulder for him to cry on. She lost it while, I shouldn\'t say this, while she was on the toilet. Yes, I am starting to cry!! He told me, \"Mom, I had to flush my baby.\" That hurt more than the loss of the baby.

I cry WITH you.We can rest assured that will see them in heaven, but it still hurts.

Will pray with you. Especially because the birth date is coming up.

Dearest eklord,

I am praying for you and your husband as you grieve the loss of your little angel. I too experienced a miscarriage. I didn\'t think it was possible, as I was unaware of how common it was. During my visit to the clinic for the ultrasound when my 12 weeks was near they didn\'t have the heart to tell me that there wasn\'t any activity there... days later I too experienced something similar to what MaryTurk\'s sister in law did. I couldn\'t process that fact and refused to flush as well for hours as my husband and I began to grieve. Sometimes I personally take solace in the fact that God needed me to be my baby\'s mother so my heart and soul could learn valuable virtues that only come from such trials. That my baby was meant to be a soul who didn\'t get to breath a breath in this world, who was meant to be blessed with being with the lord and that really it was I who had to endure the worst of it. In the end yours and my baby are with our dearest lord. From my experience and in my opinion I believe they are the souls who didn\'t have to live out virtues in this world and who were nearly perfect. They are thanking you and all mothers who go through something similar that can take those battle wounds and live through it to gain the virtues they would not have gained other wise. God has a plan for everyone, including those who don\'t need to endure the life of this world and all the pain, and lessons that come from it. God is love and is here to take our pain, but values our willingness to endure it for what he wants us to learn from it. He is grateful we are willing to endure, that\'s why he comforts us, gives us peace, only gives us what we can take at one time... he doesn\'t want to break us but see us grow from it. With his gentle guidance we can grow from these experiences rather then allow our hearts to grow bitter in our silence. We learn that others love us and are here to support us. We find comfort in the little things. We live and gain patience and gratitude. All of which are usually found after we lose something great. That\'s what I learned from my experience. I understand we all go through our own experiences in our own ways, however I hope you take comfort in the fact that God has a plan for your soul... the very best plan of all.

God bless you and your husband.

I\'m so very sorry for your loss. Losing a child...no matter the \"age\" or circumstances is devastating to a mother.

I lost my first son during my 5th month of pregnancy. I was young...22...and everyone kept telling me \"you\'re young, you can have more children\". Well, that just pissed me off! I didn\'t want to hear about the future children I may have....I wanted THAT child!! It took me about a year before wanting to try to have another baby, but finally I did.

My 17 year old daughter, Kala, was in a fatal car accident on Jan 2, 2007. Once again my life was shattered and I wasn\'t sure I\'d be able to pick up any of the pieces, or want to, let alone rebuild a life worth living.

Then I found this website and the most amazing moms ever! With their help, understanding, and compassion, I have rebuilt my life. It\'s not the same...never could be the same....but it IS a life worth living and I\'m doing that...LIVING....each day I\'m blessed with.

Grief is hard work. It\'s exhausting work. But if you do the work...use the tools available....you too can find your new life is worth living to the fullest and best of your ability.

Come here and share your heart as often as you need. We\'re here to listen and to love.

Tight hugs, Teri
