Nothing new...but some good things :)
Well, I've not written for quite some time because there's been nothing new and interesting to write about. There still isn't I suppose except that finally I'm getting near the end of my husband's deployment and I'm very excited about that. When he gets home we will actually have a lot of time to spend together so we can go to Walter Reed to get my MRI done without rushing and then hopefully we will be heading to the west coast to see his family, a trip that was cancelled last year when he was deployed early. Another good thing in my life is that I've managed thru much hard work to lose about 10 lbs. I'm still not where I want to be but I'm happy now knowing that something is finally working and I can lose weight. My husband says that even if I didn't lose weight he'd still think I'm the most beautiful person on earth but he's thriled that I did. He also says he can tell a difference in my attitude, saying that I seem happier now. Truth be told he has no idea how tired I really am because I don't tell him those things when I write or when I have the pleasure of getting a phone call from him but these days I feel like my energy is all but depleted by about 4 pm. My doctor ran some labs a few months back and says there's nothing to be concerned about and that of course it's just normal for someone with liver disease. I already knew that and therefore I don't worry but it does tend to get irritating. I mean, I've always been really tired since all this started and I know the docs said it can come and go and of course it can get worse with time so I just tend to look on the positive side and that is that I am not in the hospital and I can still get out of bed every day and live a fairly normal life :) All that being said, I'm happy and content and feel like it's been a hundred years since I've seen or hugged my husband so now I have to make a huge list of things to get done before he gets home...if nothing else it will make the time go by faster. Hugs and prayers.....CA
