Nothing is normal
And I just really wish everyone would stop saying "things will get back to normal, it will just take some time". Nothing about this is normal and I can't see how it will ever be "normal" again. I'm willing to accept a "new" normal, but come on people, just because I might laugh at something that is funny or smile back at you if you smile at me DOES NOT mean I am over "it". Jim is not, nor ever was an "it". He is always going to be part of me and I am always going to miss him. PERIOD!
I am not bad, I am just sad and I recon I will be for some time and I am okay with that. I can't imagine feeling any different, I have lost a great big piece of who I am.
Thanks for listening.

You are absolutely right. Our husbands never were an \"it\"!!!!! I am at 14 months and I get offended when someone says.......\"I\'m worried about you. You should be over it now and moving on.\" So I keep quiet and paste on the smile. I will never ever be okay with \"it.\"
Your right..nothing will ever be OK again...Nothing will ever be normal again..I\'m not even into this a month and I have people saying, *you should be feeling a little better\" Well I\'m not, and I don\'t think I ever will....I\'ll learn to cope better, You said it wonderfully Beccaz....Thanks, Diane
Your life has changed as you once knew it and that \"normal\" will never be again. Hugs and blessings! Barbara
