Nothing good to say about it

I can't really talk to my family much. My daughters don't listen to me. My mother listens, but is only understanding up to a point.
But when I tell anyone other than my psychologist all of what has been happening they tune out, walk away, shut me out. They don't want to hear about it. I had an ex-boyfriend who, after telling him what had happened during a particularily bad day, asked me "did anything good happen today".
Thing is, the good things happening in the midst of all of this crap are very small in comparison to the huge bad things happening. The last 7 years haven't been entirely horrible, but the bad bits have been very, very bad. When you compare the magnitude of the bad bits to the tiny successes or pleasures the general picture to be told is not a pretty one.
Maybe in the future, after I have been resettled, I can look back and tell the story differently so that it doesn't sound so tragic. But being here, living this, I cannot. The last 7 years has been full of pain and illness, breakdowns and failures. Let us not forget all the screaming.
It is time to move on.
