Nothing good is happening

I tried telling her it was totally innocent and she was ok with that for a while, but then she did something  that I know she didn't want to do, shouldn't have done and now everything is is crazy. She looked up some of the notes I had put in the trash and she now thinks I betrayed her. I just don't know what to do I'm starting to resent her false accusations, she's emotionally punishing me and her.I am lost
