nother update
Ma and babies doing well. I couldn't get them all in the photos. They are pretty well hidden as you can see. Needless to say, mother is out on the hunt looking for more nourishment for her growing babies!
It won't be long before they leave the nest. I worry about the surrounding pitfalls and have done as much as possible to alleviate any potential problems that lie ahead. I put sawdust on the floor directly under the nest. If they fall and don't make it out the door, I only hope they hit ground zero where the pile of sawdust is located, to cushion their fall. My planer is in front of the door but I have moved it out of the way a little so that they can clearly see the path to freedom.
My orders have slowed down this past week. I am glad..It gives me a break and it's less noise for the birds to endure.
More to come..........

Nature is soo wonderful for the soul. My Robin is sitting on her second brood. I say hello to Miss Robin when I go out on the deck. Hugs! Brooke
