Not sure...

I don't know exactly what I'm looking for here... years ago, I fell for someone on this website. She helped me through some of the hardest times I've ever gone through. Now here I am, back, after all these years looking for some kind of help. Because let's get real, I need it. I'm struggling so bad with my OCD, I don't know what to do anymore. The meds don't work. The only reason I'm still on them is because they greatly affect my mood when I'm off. Seriously, why do I have to live with this? Why can everyone else live happy, normal lives and I'm over here worrying about if I blink at the wrong time I'll end up homeless? That sounds crazy doesn't it?

I'm sorry you've been going through such a rough patch. A happy, normal life-- what's that? Lol. I don't know a lot about OCD, honestly. I wish I could be of more help, but I definitely hope you find a form of treatment that works for you ☺

I know it's been sometime since this has been posted, so apologies for the late reply (and friend request acceptance). I'm pretty sure we all have our issues, and normalcy in general is pretty subjective haha. Some folks just manage to be less obvious than others. Now, I don't know too much about OCD, but I do have social anxiety, as well as depression. Some days I have to keep reminding myself of my worth as a human being, otherwise I can't get out of bed. It's stressful, yes, but having a solid foundation of support helps. Is this something you can openly talk to your family and friends about? Honestly, for me, talking to someone close is very therapeutic.

Just know there will always be someone out there willing to lend an ear. And hey, you'll always have us folks on the internet too. Hope you're doing well!
