Not such good news

Well the cortisone shot did not work...insisted on more x-rays and they came back with severe ostioarthritis...I have to have another ultrasound guided cortisone shot then see the specialist ....the damn hoops you have to jump through....my NP was not happy with me as I threatened to report her to the nursing association also told her if she didn't do something for my pain I was going to turn to street drugs....I am so fed up with all this ....turns out I have to have a hip replacement ....gee ya think....I have only been saying this forever.....and I hear the wait time is about a year and a half....so even though they are considering the hip replacement I will still be in pain for a very long time....by the time I have the surgery it will have been seven years that this has been going on....that is why I am frustrated
