Not so dedicated

I am feeling a bit bad, I have started my medicated cycle and transfer date is fast approaching and I just don't feel very invested in it, its a bit like if id ran a race with heaps of people who beat me, next time I feel like just strolling!!
My diet is crap and ive really done nothing to make it work and I just don't feel like I can, I will do grocery shopping this weekend and I will try and buy lots of veg and fruit and get my head in the game. I am still on the decaf and never drink alcohol but other than that I haven't done anything.
Has anyone else had a perfect cycle that failed for no reason at all and gone on for it just to work?? I feel like I've lost faith in the whole process!!
I feel a bit like with this attitude I don't deseve for it to work I am so not into it!

Sorry you are feeling less dedicated. You should not feel bad about it. It\'s a hard process to go through and it makes sense that you would not want to just plunge full force ahead with veggies flying out of your head. So what if your diet is crap for a little bit! If it makes you happy, then go with it. Nutrition isn\'t just about the quality of each meal, it\'s about a lifetime of eating. If you have some bad weeks, you can just pick back up with better eating when you are ready. Drinking decaf and not having alcohol is good, so you are doing a lot. Don\'t beat yourself up because you aren\'t perfect.

You do deserve for it to work. You deserve it more than most people. Try and hold onto any hope you have and move ahead. I\'m sure these bad days will pass, and I hope that comes soon.

Good luck with your cycle and upcoming transfer.

Sorry you are feeling down. There are lots of ladies on here who have had perfect cycles not work and then have an imperfect cycle be the one that works. Its hard not to feel down with everything you have gone through, but I hope you can find some peace in this cycle. And do not beat yourself up about not eating right etc. Do what you can but don\'t make yourself crazy doing it. Good luck and I hope this one is it for you!

I think we have all experienced the way you feel or are experiencing it now. After hearing no so many times, how can we not feel down. The good news is that anything can happen and your miracle could be right around the corner. Sounds like you on are the right track and I\'m sure once that transfer date approaches, you will be a lot more excited then!

My pregnancy happened on the cycle where I wasn\'t \"perfect\"...meaning, I no acupuncture, I wasn\'t watching my diet, I probably even had a bit of caffeine. I really think the key is not stressing yourself out. And if you\'re feeling good overall, I wouldn\'t worry too much about it. Good luck!

I\'m sorry friend. I sure wish I knew what the formula was for a cycle to work. The honest fact is some work, and some do not and even the docs cannot always tell why a cycle didn\'t work. For me personally the really encouraging factor is meeting all the amazing women here on DS who have a beautiful testimony of their working. Those are the stories I love to hear and those are the stories that really do bring hope. *HUG!! It\'s ok if you are not feeling a hundred and ten percent invested this time around. The saying once bitten twice shy deal really does apply to infertility. Sometimes it\'s hard to keep your heart and head in the game after a failed attempt. The important thing is you are still here and you are still trying and that is a wonderful thing. We are all here cheering you on friend and the fact that you have the strength to do this again shows you have a strength of character and plenty of grit to see this through until you get your sweet bundle of joy. Hang in there friend.
