Not quite a set back

Well I figure I'm better at cleaning than computer work and I would not ever want a computer job ever again because of how much stress it gave me! I actually had a partial seizure. So I have two interviews coming up Monday. I am going to keep this job until I find another they say it's easier to find a job when you have one. I took another session of Spravado they say sometimes you need maitenennce doses. It helped a little. Any way, I have been talking to two people over the phone not just texting it's been helping also. I have been writing things I am grateful for almost every day. It's supposed to help you with trusting the unknown. I hope you guys are doing well. We all deserve happiness. Thank you for reading.

Sometimes we label these jobs that don't fit us as "failures" but truthfully, they are successes in knowing what works for us and what doesn't. I can't do total computer jobs, either. So many good things you are doing to help yourself. I love that you are doing actual phone calls. I worry you had a partial seizure.

I do gratitude also. Keeping a gratitude journal helps a lot of people. I think it is supposed to help us with having a more positive attitude. It does for me because when I get low mood, I try to do something or think something that makes me feel the opposite. I went and got two largish red poinsettias for each side of my fireplace in my tiny living room. I thought what would bring me joy.

I think happiness is a mindset and we have to encourage our brains to think with positivity. I am doing what is called the Broaden and Build Theory where focus my mind on larger things than just my low mood or pain. I have a mental pink coping skills toolbox and I say to myself, let's open this up and find something positive and happy. Then I do it (or think it). I wasn't going to decorate for holidays but I realized in my support group last night that I needed to find a small joy and embrace it. Thus, the two red poinsettias.

I hope you find another job that suits you better. It is good to know the kind of things we dislike in a job. Not that any job is perfect.

I imagine computer centered jobs would be difficult if you haven't been doing it steadily. I have a friend who took on an administrative job that requires a lot of computer work and she's now regretting the move from her old position which was more hands on stuff.
I hope the interviews go well as you keep learning what's out there.
I really like the writing of grateful things. I may have mentioned that I always say out loud what comes to me in the moment to be grateful for on my walks. I have found this to be life changing in. that it shifts the perception from the story of poor me to blessed (nothing supernatural) me. Which is a HUGE shift lol.
I've responded to a number of seizure calls. We always turn off the flashing lights before coming on scene. Can you turn the brightness down on the screen? I think there are glasses which help reduce the blue light also.
