Not my best day on record
Gads, I am so frustrated this time around after going off my Coumadin for that Colonoscopy, it seems each time I go off the Coumadin for any reason it's harder each time to get back to therapeutic. I tested this morning and am at 1.8 so I actually moved up .3 since last week. This means I get to stay on the shots longer and they upped my Coumadin dose to 12.5 to see if they can get my levels up. I test again on Friday. Oh and to top it off I had to come home early from work today after a short stop at the ER because of the good ole chest pain and shortness of breath. The ER doc said even though I was covered with the lovenox my D-Dimer was borderline so its possible I threw a small clot. They drew blood gasses on me to rule out a heart attack, and even did an EKG. They went ahead and sent me home because they wouldn't do anything different in the hospital than what i'm doing at home and thats taking the lovenox twice a day and taking my Coumadin. I did get instructions from my primary care ohysician to take it east and if I feel worse to get right back into the ER. I also started bleeding a little from the colonoscopy they did nothing big just a few drops of blood and enough to make it annoying. (Yes I informed the doc and thats another thing I have to keep an eye on in case it gets worse.) Thursday I go in for my echo on my heart and maybe that will give me some answers. I seem to have everyone scratching their heads.I asked the doctor what are the chances of a heart problem and he said my heart could have a valve problem that is causing me to throw clots into my lungs, sheesh I just don't know what to think anymore.Hope all is well with all of you.Love and HUgsFerr
