Not Just For Kids....

You hear it all the time..”Harry Potter, that’s a kid’s book!” or, “How could you read that? What are you, like 12?” These and many more irritating questions have been asked of me in my lifetime of reading Harry Potter in “public”, so to speak. I will admit, I am a Harry Potter Fanatic! :) Every day, during my lunch hour, I would plunge myself deep into Harry’s Magical World, escaping from my hum-drum muggle existance, stuck in a cubicle surrounded by paperwork.Co-workers would approach me, asking what I was reading. And I would get the standard..”Oh..” answer with the “Oh Brother” look on their face. Not like I cared, it was their loss after all.I look forward to those warm weather months when I can take out my Harry Potter T-shirts, and My Harry Potter Jacket and proudly display my love for a wonderful series of books and movies. I have placed my "Harry For President"  bumper sticker on my car, and I enjoy the peculiar stares I get when people read it. :) Nothing like sitting at a traffic light, and glancing in your rear-view mirror, to confusion, a laugh, a smile, or a smirk. And like any other fan, I truly enjoyed reading the last book in the series, and looking forward to movies 6, and 7.And what will I do after all the movies have been watched, and all the books have been read? I will re-live them, again and again through the courtesy of my DVD player, and my happily awaiting bookshelf. I look forward to engrossing myself into what else Daniel has  to offer us, and all his future projects.
