not going back

Last night we at 11PM we heard T come in the front door but went right upstairs and didn't come in the back (where our family room is) to say hi.  Well, my husband went to check in on him and he said he was going to bed because he was tired.  We thought that that was a bit strange because he wasn't up early that morning.  Anyway, a little bit later we heard the front door open and close.  I went to check to see if he had gone out (he does that sometimes when he comes home before curfew).  Well, I didn't see him outside but looked upstairs (we have a vaulted ceiling and balcony) and there at the top of the balcony was a cute girl.  What?  I asked her in a, not so happy voice, "What ARE you doing up there?"  She was embarrassed and apologetic and explained that she was checking in on him because her friend asked her to.  He was sick and she didn't think we were home. Initially,  I thought - great- here we go again.  When T was using we once found his gf upstairs with him while we were home and he on house arrest.  Well, I point blank asked her if he took something or used something. She said she didn't know.  Anyway, he threw up in his bathroom and came out of there and - to me - he seemed fine.  Husband was doubtful.  I asked my husband if he noticed anything in his eyes.  He said he did.  I didn't.  **Strangely enough - this girl - is the niece of my favorite TV star.  We know this girl's mom who is the "STAR'S" sister-in-law and we know the star's brother.  I had never met this girl before but it was weird to meet her under these circumstances.   This morning T was up at 7AM and seemed perfectly fine - in a good mood and pleasant.  He said he hadn't had anything to eat all day and then had some macaroni salad at his friend's house that made him sick.  This morning he was eating cereal and then went back to bed.   Apparently, after talking to my husband this morning, he DID tell my husband he ate something bad, in addition, to telling him he was tired.  My husband said he was acting strangely but -- if I'm sick (epecially to my stomach) I am not very engaging, either.  Whew....glad it wasn't what we thought........because we don't want to go back!!   * I am bummed.  My brand new Mac Book has a problem.  The first time I used a DVD in it, it gets stuck!  Between the electric box, the dryer, the hose, the mower, and the lap top....it gets very frustrating.....
