Not feeling it today

It has been a long week and it is not over yet. I have a dentist appointment this afternoon which gets me out of work early, but this day is still dragging. A nap sounds really good right about now, but my focus is still on selling our house and I have a lot to do before the second open house this Sunday. Shameless plug-if you are reading this and know of anyone that is looking to buy a house in Southern California  you can look up the listing: 3147 James Court Lancaster, CA 93535. We are about 80 miles northeast of LA and are a bedroom community for LA, San Fernando Valley and near Edwards AFB and Palmdale Regional Airport (homes of flight test) which has Lockheed Martin, Northrup-Grumman, Boeing and more right up the street. Okay sorry moving on! Don't hate me I had too! You never know where you can find a buyer if you don't ask.
In other news, I got my calendar for our cycle and I have begun my daily baby aspirin and prenatal vitamin regimen. I have an appointment on 27 June for my injection class and then a couple of stops at the pharmacies. I am expecting a long wait at the Naval hospital pharmacy.  Hubby will be out of town and since I have to drive down the day before I am dragging my best friend with me. It should help with my nerves and she remembers to ask lots of questions like my husband does. Plus we'll have a nice girls days before I learn how to stick myself with needles (have I mentioned that I hate needles and have no idea how I am going to stick myself?!? I can handle being stuck, but I have never done it myself). Then we have our baseline u/s on the 8 July and should start meds 10 July.  If all goes well we will be scheduling our retrieval around 23 July (23 is my lucky number so I am hoping that it works out for that date, just a little extra luck can't hurt ).
We will be traveling from Lancaster California to San Diego for our cycle so there will be lots of time spent in the car (3-4 hours one way without traffic) and missing a lot of work. I am actually not too worried about missing work because I already gave them my notice and we are working on the move to Vegas. I will definitely miss the full time paycheck though!
Thank goodness for having Leciag around so I can pick her brain and learn more about this crazy journey we are starting. Support in any form is the best gift we IF girls can give and receive. I have to remember this and if anyone needs to talk or just needs an ear to listen, I am here.
I think I am done complaining and whining.....for now. Have a great weekend!
