Not Fun!
Well, we just never know what we will be dealing with tomorrow. I learned Tuesday that I broke my foot. I thought it was sprained, not so. What a trip getting around on crutches at 69. My sister has been a big help in the week she is moving and I was supposed to help her! I will have a wheel chair delivered today which will make life a lot easier.
Being alone is so difficult after 30 plus years of being with a man who's main goal was to care for me. I am learning!
I am taking this as another reminder that I need to take care of myself, as my sister says "now you MUST think only of you." So I am taking this as a lesson and hearing my dear husband Clyde telling me to relax, be patient (patience has never been my best attribute) and catch up on some reading and crocheting.
Grieving, in addition to the pain and sadness, is such a growing opportunity. I truly am learning what I am made of.
To my dear Clyde, thank you for all you taught me about patience that you didn't even realize you were doing, and for your amazing love and support over 30 plus years. How fortunate am I.
Loving you forever.
