Not Compromising Who We Are...

...to be with another.  As soon as one person compromises to "fit" into a relationship with another, the person who compromises feels boxed in, doomed, and ultimately blows up and has to be themselves again, the other person be damned.
While I have many moods, I think, on the whole, I'm a big, silly, boistrous goofball.  It'll take a rare woman indeed to understand and love that.  But, if I LOVE her, and welcome her into me, we might work out swimmingly.  Trouble is, the women who have been attracted TO ME tend to try to "tone me down", control me, subjugate me somehow.  No good (for me).  The woman that I'm with has to be certifiably whacky in her own right, so we're constantly one-upping each other's craziness.  That's the kind of relationship I enjoyed with my brother, and I expect no less in my relationship with a woman, with the added dimension of sexual closeness.
