Not Big On Resolutions But....
It usually isn't in my nature to make New Years Resolutions. However, in this case I feel it is necessary to tell you that in general, I feel I will succeed next year if I continue to grow in my strength and have stronger faith in the Lord. I've had some good times and some hard times in 2008. What I really need to do is refer more to Scripture when it pertains to my daily life. Also, I plan on working on my ongoing goals. They aren't necessarily my New Years Resolutions, just more progress toward the finish line, so to speak. So, below you will find what I'm hoping for in 2009 and beyond. GOALS AND PRAYERS1). To be able to blend my Travel Agent experience with missionary work.2). Donate more of my time on helping on Christian sites here on DS.3). Help needy children4). One of my few hopes in '09 is to go on the Peru Compassion Trip in April.I'm sure I have more goals. However, the number one thing is that each one of these 4 hopes will give God the glory and that He is number one. Except for number 4 above, these are long term goals. In number 3, I'm praying someday that I will serve in Peru helping build churches and reach street children there.Well, to conclude, I want to thank you for reading this and I want to encourage each of you in your New Years. God bless.PenguinPeru
