Not bad

As days go, today was sort of ho hum. I don't have any major gripes but I don't have the euphoria of yesterday either. It was not bad. I am finally down into the 35 mg area of prednisone so that's good. 3 days of that dosage, then 3 days of 30 mg, etc., etc. If my math is accurate, that should be 21 more days of etc.  I found out today that I don't have to fast before my CT on Thursday. It turns out that my creatinine levels were slightly elevated so they can't use the contrast dye on me. Heck, they should have asked me. I could have told them that my creatinine levels were slightly elevated. They're always slightly elevated. I've known for 8 years that I have a mild kidney impairment.  Nothing too serious but enough so that they can't use the dye. At least I don't have to go to the lab hungry.  The heat returned today and this time I kept my butt home. It was a little hard just picking up the mail from the mailbox. Hey , you can't fool me twice. At least until I'm over my last indiscretion. Other than that, I'm OK.  I was a bit concerned about the soreness but have found out it's not uncommon with our favorite steroid.  Like I said, the day was not bad. Be well,Tom
