NOT ALWAYS MAINTAINING A WINNING POSITION.
Hi Journal,
No one sees me at my worst.
People I meet think I am cured of Parkinson's Condition.
They think and say this because I have had DBS and because,
they don't see me shaking. I wish, I wish I wish.
I fall down on average only about twice a day,
I only cut myself almost every day whilst shaving and,
often fall off my bike for gods sake.
That is not really me at my worst.
That I am at my worst in the morning, when I rise,
is par for the course.
That I don't lament or bemoan the fact,
I just get on with it, going to hell to regroup,
and figure better ways to manage has seen me in good stead.
I have a special relationship with the ground,
I takes no notice of me when I'm laying there,
swaring and cursing, saying,
"O BLOW, I'VE FALLEN DOWN".
This is just the way it is when one has to deal and manage
Parkinson's Condition, impostor that it is.
Although I stride to maintain a winning position,
I don't succeed all the time.
Only the mediocre are ever at their best.

You are human, and you are one hell of a fighter. I wouldn\'t want to be on the receiving end of the bottom of your foot ;)
