I have these neighbors who went to school at a local liberal arts college down the road from me. I don't know them personally but bumped into them a few times at a local coffee shop.
So they made this movie and this movie won an academy award last week!
I have watched it 3 times so far and it is pretty inspiring. I just wanted to share it with you. It is showing on MTV every so often but you can watch it anytime online. If you are interested, here is the link to it:

NOw I am reading that the Fines are talking to producers who want to make a full length movie about her life and they are already writing the screenplay. So nice and refreshing to see that there are people on this earth who have a conscious and go out of their way to bring awareness to the vulnerable through the work that they do.
