not a slow weekend

If you really read these please let me know.  I don't really have a problem with writing just for the catharsis, but I'm curious. Last time I wrote about the sudden stress situation and dealing with it.  I added onto that post to explain what had happened to cause it. I had already decided to spend yesterday making these repairs whether the tenants were home or not.  Wednesday evening we went to Home Depot and Lowes and bought hopefully everything we needed.  Then Thursday evening the female half of my tenant couple called and asked me to go ahead and make the repairs.   The hot water heater took it's last breath and they decided against cold showers.   I'm glad we had it already planned. Friday (yesterday) the handyman and I spent about 11-12 hours working on it.  From 10 or 11 AM till 11:30 in the evening.  We got the tear out and clean-up done, got the hot water heater installed and working and most of the reconstruction done.  In some places the mold was a lot worse than I expected and we had to remove most of the drywall in and around the hot water heater and much of the framing. The female tenant was there most of the time and she is a nice person to deal with.  She's pleasant and she's smart enough to ask for what she wants, not like her boyfriend who demands things like you stole from him.  The boyfriend was there in the evening and was friendly enough to help drag the old hot water heater out and carry the new one in.    I was soooooo sore when I got home.  My back hurt in 3 places, and still hurts, 22 hours later.  I took a long whirlpool this morning and it started hurting from the strength of the jet blowing on a sore spot on my back.   Tommorrow I'm going back to finish.

Jody, I\'m a few hundred feet from the Gulf near Tampa and they expect to move the end of February.....so I\'ll have a vacancy. She promises to leave the place in move-in condition. I haven\'t seen that for a long time. If you\'re tired of the east coast we should talk.
