Not a Bad Start to the Week...

 
Well, yesterday my day was all "off"--things not going right in the AV room in church, my son being "off", etc. So I'm gonna say that my week will start today!
 
Thing 1 - Had a decent PPT for my son at the school. No big surprises, such as my son not completing homework. However, his effort level, test grades & other things are getting better. They're going to do a round of testing mid-next year for post-graduate purposes. All-in-all, the overall presentation of how he's doing was clear & factual & I really appreciated that. It went so smoothly, in fact, that I got out of there rather early & was able to stop in to Starbucks on the way to work!
 
Thing 2 - Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte at Starbucks -- Venti size! What a nice, aromatic & yummy way to start the morning! I was very grateful to my brother-in-law for giving me that gift card!
 
Thing 3 - Beautiful weather here in CT today -- mid- to high-60's & sunny. Took a nice, refreshing walk at lunch. Loads of people at the picnic tables, the birds were singing. Just nice!
 
Thing 4 - Dancing With the Stars is back tonight, along with a new episode of Castle!
 
Thing 5 - UConn Women's Basketball continue in the playoffs tonight & I'm sure they'll win!
