"Normal is an illusion. What is "normal" for the spider, is chaos for the fly." Morticia Addams
i love the addams -- addams family values is one of the greatest movies. so true. the character "debbie" cracked me up.
heard from my step-cousins which was sickening because it was a "wonder how they can get at their aunt's money" kind of conversation. before them their father, mother, the aunt's sister and husband and their mother (who is a gamblerholic) were at her for the same reason. then they wonder why she refuses to speak to them. to guard her funds she put the cash in a 5 year high interest cd that couldn't be touched. then her brother sits there BROODING and saying i'll see you in court in five years. REALLY? its not his money on any level at all so why does he think he is entitled to ANY of it. its disgusting.
what cracked her up with it, is without even trying, the amount she put in the five year cd, was so large, she was making tons of money off of it going in there. she said the amount she was making in interest was so large, she could have lived on it and she wasn't even trying to make money at that point. lol. she was in the banking industry so no surprise.
Five years later, her brother was after her to pay for his son's college - the audacity. she says, she's not paying for anyone. her brother and sister wanted her declared "incompetent" so they could get a hold of her money. she had retired early because of physical illness, but there was nothing else wrong with her. her former employer had to testify for her. she pretty much dropped all of her family that tried to steal her money - what they are doing, is another form of stealing. after that she stopped speaking to them (and should), and now here they are again. she had put money aside for her cat (and animal and marine rescues) and told her sister's ex-husband (who is also her ex-fiance) and since he was one of the thieves why trust him. she makes the same mistake with that guy and the rest of her family, all the time -- though at least she doesn't trust family anymore.
so here we are again, and her ex-fiance is back recruiting people to go after her money. (he and his sister did the same thing to their younger brother for DECADES, and its still not sorted out now, and probably never will be). its pure jealousy when people act like that. so glad i don't know any of them anymore, though it keeps turning up anyway, because they show up. i'll never comprehend that. what part of the words, go away and not interested do they not understand.
went shopping at the mall with with a. felt odd being there - the mall seems smaller than it used to for some reason. had dinner at pickadilly with j and a, hope i remember not to eat there again. not that good.
had lunch at chinese with a. it serves boston market style food in addition to chinese food. its actually just as good and a better deal. its the same price, except the chinese one is all you can eat buffet - they also have tv screens all over the place. a lot of people in there on their break from work just hanging and eating and watching tv from their tables. all drinks are $2. the other chinese place includes tea, so that was different. also picked up hickory farms cheeses at the mall - the vegetable cheese dip and the turkey sausage which is sweet tasting.
my step-aunt was in lovely humor and called her brother's sons' homes mauseleams. she won't visit them at all because she doesn't trust them. they are the same bunch that grew up, not allowed to get dirty when they play outside....what a difference from the rest of us, who do as we please allll the time. lol. they have large homes, but owe everyone money. they don't owe credit cards, they owe PEOPLE.
normal people owe credit cards, but NEVER owe people at all. wtf? disgusting. they are the ones that are after her money. don't even want to think about that bunch.
