No one to socialize with
I don't have anyone other than my husband to talk in person to. I do go on facebook besides here. I am not good at writing my thoughts down. My daughter does call me several times a month and that is nice but she is not a kindred soul you could say. I don't know how else to explain it. But I also don't like conversing on the phone! I want to see people when talking and besides I don't always have a good clear connection because of where I live. And it is awkward when another call comes and have to let the other person go not knowing how long I will be with other caller.
My husband or one of his customers are usually the other caller. So I don't want to be on the phone with anyone other than my daughter because she already knows and understands. No long explanations, just, I got to go, love you!
When there is occasions where people I know are getting together, It is usually where I wont drive myself, too late at night, they will be drinking too much more than likely or my husband needs me to be at hand. He always tells me to let him know about them and he will take me! I know he would but his schedule is so busy and I just can't add more to it! Some people say they will come and get me, but then I don't remember if they smoke in vehicle or will drive after drinking or if they will want to stay longer than I'm wanting to! Many years ago I asked all those questions and I really could see them thinking I was a crazy person! LOL! I don't mean to be a stick in the mud! Anyway, that person has passed away and no one else offers rides and in the last year, no one asks me anymore if I'm going. Can't blame them.
