winter is here.  grrrr.  its 60 out now and rainy and going down to 45 tonight.  brrrrrr.   i'm in long johns and a turtle neck under my regular clothing.  the dogs are shivering, they get cold easy just like me, though the cats seem to enjoy the cooler weather.  i called k to stop at the other house to pick up the dog sweaters.  the ones from last year had turtle necks on them and stayed on them better than the ones from this year, if i could remember how to crochet i could add a turtle neck to these myself, i guess.  lmao.    the room they like best stays around 72 degrees and there is wool blanket and down comforters (bought before i realized how down is acauired.  omg! its disgusting), but 72 is still too cold for them.

sitting around finishing off the rest of the prime rib dinner from yesterday.  yum.  went to the hope store and they had the gourmet/organic soups finally, but still no instant coffee.  wth?  and the bounty/dawn paper towels which i discovered driving home i'm allergic to - gave me an asthma attack - you can't return anything there because its a food co-op.   they also had windshield wipers this time.  that place is amazing.  they get anything where the package is bumped, dented, torn. i'm allergic to a lot of the artificial fragrances.  they also had vitamins, which was the main reason i was there.  picked up niacin, 600 mg of fish oil,  and flax seed 1000 mg to lower cholesterol.  they also had the omega 3, 6, 9 vitamins and golden seal echinacea, which is supposed to get rid of colds.  vitamins are 75 percent off at that place alllll the time, so its worth the trip to go there.  i still have a sore throat, which i think isn't going away because low iron/hemoglobin also lowers immunity.  i tried taking an iron pill which gets rid of the fatigue and malaise, but it tears into my stomach and i end up with a stomach ache from it.  this whole thing is driving me crazy.  never had an interest in medicine/medical school in any serious way until i started getting ill after the car accident.  wth?

am still giving ana amoxi with interferon and she is handling and receiving it well.    i hope it does it.   just started reading "lost and found"  by Elizabeth Hess - a journalist and former art critic, walked into the Columbia Greene Animal Shelter in upstate New York looking for a new dog and never really left. she became a volunteer and wrote a book about what its really like in a place like that.  she writes well, and its a book that should be required reading - people can't know what they have never been taught.  its not as forceful as the essay, Letter from a Shelter Manager (that one makes you cry because it REALLY wakes you up), but similar effect.

went to the spa as well, spent time in the sauna and did a partial facial.  totally LOVE that place, have no idea why i don't go more often when its one of my favorite places to be.  really wish i would do that more.   spent the morning on the phone with rn, k, j and joshm.   he says r is complaining that it took 4 years of struggling for them to open up their clinic and its coming along slowly.  she handles pr.  hmmmm they owe EVERYONE money and then had the nerve to go around asking people to invest in them, when they never paid the people they owe through the years and i'm talking huge money and its not loans, those people STEAL and then make court settlements on it which they also don't pay.  its ridiculous.  they ALWAYS steal from individuals and then make sure they pay their credit cards, so it appears they have good credit, when the truth is they are total hoodlums wearing suits and driving new cars that they don't really own or aren't their's at all and have to get rid of fast.  disgusting people.

they don't actually own anything, they never do.   they OWE everywhere. they even called ME five years ago and i'm like you haven't paid the money you owe from 1980.  wth?  that family is so fucked in the head, i don't think they actually own ANYTHING ever.  3 mortgages at all times on one house, and everything inside never belongs to them.  they have also been caught dealing in counterfeit which his grandfather used to run out of his house in park ridge.  r was ENCOURAGING him to offer payment of what he owes (and you are talking millions, with him its money he stole and made plea deals and payment plans. they never pay it.    from the 70's to 1995 at least and with his "father" its from 1959 to 1995 --  r was encouraging them to pay it in counterfeit.   she is slavic and seems to think this is "normal" behavior.  hmmmm.  what were you guilty of in your country that made you move here?   wonder if he ever knows people who aren't criminals.  if you commit crime you are a criminal, the conviction/jail part of it doesn't matter.  the entire family/extended family are alllll complusive gamblers, who fail at everything legit, so they steal;   and then they lose everything they steal because they gamble.   they come around begging for money or assets periodically - every few years, and never truly go away.  its sickening.   they send whoever their latest family members are as they divorce and re-marry or re-partner to also beg.  why not just get a brown basket and dark glasses and go door to door.  seriously.     shocked any of them are still alive.    its like, if you know them you have to be a criminal yourself, only criminals hang out with criminals, no one else will put up with people like that once they discover what they really are.

My lil chihuahua wears a lil t shirt because she gets cold. Nothing fancy just a lil t. I often tell my husband bird\'s of a feather flock together.

I agree wholeheartedly that no animal belongs to us. No cages, no tanks, no chains. When I was younger, I believed differently. Now that I am older and been around the block a few times, I cherish my time I have with my fur friends. I don\'t own them, but they sure own me.
