No news!
Well after a long wait I got the appointment with dermatologist.
Talk about disorganised. Our brand new super-hospital..... Now we don't go to a 'clinic' we go to a "Gate" like an airport..... Screens calling patients from the main waiting area to a "sub waiting area" were not always working properly and then I find they don't have my notes as they are having problems getting files sent to the right "gate"......
So I have to explain the full background to my leg problem to a disinterested guy who then has a quick look and says "well nothing there now so nothing I can do". And I am pushed out of the door - only to hear him say to a nurse "right, can I get on with some WORK now?" How did that make me feel?
So no news and no answer to the problem - except some aches in the leg still. At least the last lot of antibiotics has done some good and most of the swelling has subsided. I hate taking those damn things but no other option.
Am due back to see HIV specialist at the end of the month - he referred me to dermatology and I will be venting a bit, letting him know what I think of the "expert"....
Sleep would be good...... Still waking between 3am and 4am most mornings..... At least I have the sheep back in the field across the lane so I can watch them wandering around in the early hours (counted them several times but still didn't fall asleep - damn that old wives tale!! *grin*)
