No more pain meds?

I'm not sure why exactly my Dr. decided that I didn't need my pain meds any more.  After a year of my Primary care Dr. being my PM Dr. She only field my pain medication for 15 when it is normally 45 a month.  I have suffered and changed muscle relaxers twice and still no relief....now they are sending me to a PM Dr.  on Tues.I can of course live without pain medication.  No one dies from being in pain, but it sure isn't much of a life.  I have a wonderful family who helps me with everything.  But I still have to go to work and still have to suffer through the pain.  Thankfully since my pain is due to the annular tear that just leaks acidic fluid onto my nerve it doesn't interfere with my ability to move. Hopefully the new Dr. will have some good ideas on how to get this pain under control and if it can be without narcotics, GREAT, but if not I sure hope they can come up with some kind of combo that will help.  I stretched today and had another pop and severe pain.  Going to be a fun night to try to sleep and a fun day at work tomorrow.
