No more chicken!

So I never started back on the Questrin.  I've decided I can get by without it for right now and I'd rather fix the diarrhea through diet IF possible.  The next thing I'm going to try is no dairy.  I've alredy cheated with a little bit of chocolate.....oops.  I am continuing to write everything down.  I have still not gotten the results back from my 24hr stool study.  Back pain is the same.  And I hate chicken!  If I eat too much of it, it makes me naucious for a while.  This past week I've had grilled chicken, chicken salad, chicken nuggets.....yuck!  It was the one thing I couldn't eat during my pregnancies...and no I'm not pregnant :o).

Hey C. Glad to hear you are going to try avoiding dairy. Within two days of completely eliminating it from my diet I saw big benefits. I hope the same it true for you. The good news is that there are several brownie mixes out there that do not have milk products in them. Be careful to read the labels on all of your food. Milk and whey is everywhere! Beware.

MichDave ~ Ya I think it will help. I am still torn on gluten??? Do you stay clear of gluten? I ordered my pizza with no cheese last night and still had alot of diarrhea. It did have cooked veggies so who knows? I may just need to give it more time. Thanks for your reply :o).

Zero dairy has been easy! The only thing I miss is cheese. Right now I am eating a chicken salad sandwhich with SmartBalance mayo (non dairy!) with walnuts, celery, onions, and lettuce from our garden. Fantastic.
Going gluten free on the other hand is extremely difficult. I did it for three days - didn\'t see a change - so I went back to eating wheat.
In the past few weeks I have been experiencing a bit of a remission. Don\'t know exactly what I did, but the big changes are a strong probiotic, 2x daily prebiotic, non dairy, and not drinking beverages while I eat or for one hour after I eat.
Keep up the effort to find your combination!

Right now I\'m having tuna salad made with Miracle Whip, mustard, and a little salt and pepper. I couldn\'t figure out if the Miracle Whip was okay? Even looked it up on the internet and got different answers. I would LOVE to have fresh vegetables and nuts! I went for my g-free crackers but made a piece of french toast (with soy milk) for breakfast with regular bread. I guess my gaol with gluten right now will be to just cut back. Compromise :o). Do you do eggs???

Typical morning is to immediately take a probiotic then shower and get ready for the day. (They recommend waiting 30 minutes before eating.) I then have a variety of fruits - banana, grapes, grapefruit, watermellon, or an apple. Wait another 30 minutes and have eggs with toast. It is at this point I take my meds and other suppliments. Now that I see it in print it looks a bit structured. :-) Way too structured. But this is where I am right now. To answer your question, eggs don\'t seem to be a problem.
