No Matter What Happens God is With You

They began to market to the minds, consume the real estate of the minds and they changed people. It's a battle for real estate of the mind. For a start, God wipes the slate clean. He accepts Jesus’ death as payment for our sinful rebellion, and freely and completely forgives us.
And yet, according to Scripture, God’s voice of correction is driven from a basis of love. Joshua Knew His History – In Numbers 13 we read that Moses sent a group of 12 men to explore the land of Canaan which God had promised to give to the Israelites. After 40 days of exploring the land, the men returned to Moses and Aaron with their report.
We are grateful that you see us, know us and love us even when we feel far from you or in fear, in trouble and discouraged. May we never hold on to our grief and fear, but instead may we desire more intimacy with you through all your Sacraments. As you consoled us in our grief and fear, may we be able to console each other in our sorrows and grief. Father of love and life, thank you for this new day. Through the guidance of your Spirit, constantly reveal to us you Truth, Jesus Christ. No matter the weather may my heart be honest, and open, ready to share your generous mercy and love.
My friend wants to try changing his lifestyle into something free from alcohol. I’ll probably suggest that we find a devotional that he could try out as a start. Reading the bible every day has really helped me to find peace and comfort even when life gets crazy. It is worth it to spend the time in God’s Word. The greatest benefit of studying the Bible is a stronger connection and relationship with Jesus. The more time we spend reading the Bible the stronger our identity in Christ becomes.
The act of changing our lives through our words is one that involves a strong belief in the written Word of God. Friend, I’m convinced our lives would take a turn for the better if we were intentional to change the way we think. The room was pitch black except for a trickle of moonlight peeking through the window blinds. It was the middle of the night, but my mind apparently thought it was the middle of the day.
What really is on the horizon for the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand? Leading analysts of foreign affairs do not... Efforts to legalize the use of marijuana, for both “medicinal” and recreational purposes, continue to grow and find success in the halls of state and national governments.
Studies by theologians and atheists alike show that the weight of evidence proving Christ's resurrection is too great to be denied. Because Jesus rose from the dead, His death is unlike that of any other martyr. His resurrection proves the grave is not the final chapter. We can use our time wisely as we build our families and as we rear our children to know and follow God’s way. Is there a way to seize those opportunities and realize that now is the time to change our lives and follow and obey God fully? That’s what Paul is saying in Ephesians—we can live normal lives and still use the time we have wisely to honor God. Walking is something commonly done every day. It’s a metaphor here, as throughout Scripture, for our manner of life—how we live. Considering the analogy, let’s switch our perspective a bit.
Some would say he worked great miracles. Others might call him “a” son of God, meaning he is one among many “sons of God” throughout history. But they would not say he is the Son of God sent from heaven to earth.
See, this is a real estate God wants. If you're here and you're a follower of Christ, this is real estate God is after. They say when you become a Christian your desires change, but I will tell you experientially it didn't happen like that. I wish it was just like the concussion I had that one day, that Jesus came into my life and instantly my desires changed. Some of those desires changed a little slower.
It’s hardly surprising it doesn’t work. Our self-rule fails and we suffer the consequences, including the damage we do to ourselves, to the people around us, and to the world we live in. The common Bible word for this rebellious stance towards God is “sin,” and we all do it—whether we follow a particular religion or not. God can change impossible situations. He sometimes moves mysteriously, but will provide what you need in miraculous ways. And it is going to be far better than you can ever imagine.
In essence, the Spirit of truth is here to reveal to us the life in Jesus Christ that God created through the Word of God. God created the truth or real life through Him and unbelievers are blind to this. He is the Spirit “of truth” because He sheds light on this truth. He constantly helps us by revealing Christ, guiding us into His truth, and teaching us about our lives in Him. Studying the Bible is not just an intellectual endeavor to learn about God. If you adhere to it, the Word of God literally has the power to change your soul in the midst of the corrupted world because it is truth.
But you can't live in the state of denial if you read the Bible. The Bible will bring you up short, it will help you to see yourself as you really are, and it will refocus your vision. Notice, "The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever".
God used my neighbor’s chemistry class to connect us, so that they could discover a relationship with God. When the Word has found its way into our hearts, sin goes away. And I imagine there are people in this room that are just sick of the sin. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Reading the Word on a regular basis is what enables you to walk in peace and experience joy even when things around you are falling apart.
