No Magic Meds 1/15/2014
So I got the stronger med cream today but it didn't seem to do much. It did numb the skin but didn't seem to help the pain. The med with the combo anethetic and steroid seemed to help a little. I'll order that perscription tomorrow since all I have now is a sample.
I'm a bit disappointed as once again I expected too much. I thought maybe something would just take away the pain but it's not that simple I'm afraid. I guess a tiny bit of relief is all I'm ever going to get. It seems living with chronic pain will be my life. I just so disappointed...again.
I have to go into work tomorrow for some stupid meeting for some stupid project they keep pushing but the stupid f-ing thing never gets off the ground. Waste of my time and I'm not going to be in the mood for this BS. Whatever. I'm just mad at the world right now. I got my stupid f-ing hopes up AGAIN and they were crushed AGAIN!
I just want to sleep. In my dreams I don't have the pain....

Can you call the doc back and let him know you are only able to get a small amount of relief and talk to him about the other options he mentioned? I\'m sorry the strong med didn\'t work.
I know what you mean about hating having to deal with BS at the office. I am so glad I\'m retired. That crap gets old quick and I was never good at not vocalizing my thoughts! Good thing I was in Fed Gov. They can\'t fire you easily. It\'s crazy when you have work to do and they make you get involved in something that is a waste of time.
It\'s almost the weekend guy. Hang in there. Looking forward to hearing an update on your mom\'s house hunting.
