No guarantee of Soc.Sec. check in August
First thing I heard this AM on radio was we may not receive our Soc.Sec. checks on August 3. They tell us this on July l3???? Up until now they've been warning that SS will run out of money around 2030 or 2040, and suddenly Obama gets on TV this morning and says government will run out of money AUGUST 2, 2011?
Soc.Sec. is my only income, except for small amount of family assistance. And my family also receives Soc.Sec!
This can't be happening!
What can we do, the millions of older people and disabled? Storm the White House? Riot in the streets?

Have faith that all will be OK. BUT the thought of millions of senior citizens storming the White House gives one quite a visual.
I heard that too but am praying along with many others that it doesn\'t happen. I just picture older people storming the White House. What a picture LOL. I don\'t see how it is going to happen but all we can do is pray.
